Canon MP500 Multi Scanner not Working

Hey Guys,
I have installed all the drivers and software from canon for this Pixma Mp500. Can't get my mac to scan anything... Using the Image Capture, or the MP Navigator. The MP navigator says a driver is missing.

Any thoughts??

I have the same problem. Went on Canon web-site and only found out that MP Navigator can not be used on Leopard. Looks like we stuck. Any idea what to do? Who to go after?

VueScan's site says it will work, but will first need Canon's ScanGear

I did find scan gear and it works now.
