When I wish to print certain pages, I insert in the printing menu on the PC (for example) " 1-4 " or " 1,2,3,4 ", the printing sequence is always backwards i.e. 4, 3, 2, 1. Can I change this to the NORMAL sequence?

This is so that the printer prints the last page so it is at the bottom of the pile. This automatically arranges the pages so you don't have to. Some printers allow you to configure it right on the printer. There will be no option within OS X to change this in my experience.

Thanks, Altemose; just one more problem.
I have just finished using the original cartridges, and have now replaced them with compatible 540 and 541 cartridges. They work fine, BUT, the PC continues to claim that they are empty. How can I get the printer/PC to recognise them as full?
