Canon Pixma MP510 Watermark issues

Hey, ive recently purchased the MP510, All-in-one printer, and ive been using it for my coursework for school, however, it tints watermarks "blue" whenever theyre printed? Does anyone else notice this? Is there a preference that can fix it?
