I've recently switched from my now dead Canon iPF 6300 to new Canon iPF 6400 large format printer. I removed the previous 6300 printer drivers via the printer dialog box [using the (-) button] but the utility application for the 6300 keeps loading instead of the 6400 (which reports the printer is missing!). Consequently, I cant setup the driver for my current iPF 6400 printer...

I'm running El Capitan on a Mac Pro.

Any ideas how to completely remove the previous drive and printer utility apps so that I can get access my new printer correctly with the utility apps pointing at the right printer? this is annoying as I can do my paper profiles until I know what the printer driver settings are...

Many Thanks for your help!

Susanna

I also have a iPF6300S and I have a "Canon Utilities" folder under Applications. Have you tried putting that in the trash?
