Whenever I import my Canon RAW files (.CR2) they always come in as big black images. I have tried clicking "Reprocess RAW", but it never does. Is there any way to get them to process? I would really appreciate the help.

What camera? Every camera uses a different raw format. A cr2 from a 400D has very little in common with a cr2 from a 450D even.

Can you see the images when looking through the folder in Cover Flow mode?

iPhoto still wont read the RAW files from my EOS300D. So it was a relief hen cover flow mode started to show them.

You would think it would. But for some reason it doesn't. Should I try another program? Preferably a free one.

Raw Photo Processor is one of the best raw processors I've found. I like the film gamma curve, just make sure you change the interpolation prior to saving, as it'll default to half-size.

That likely only shows the small embedded JPEG, which doesn't help with the full-sized image.

Yeah, it shows up on Cover Flow, but when I try to quick look it, it just turns black.

I only use aperture so I don't know the answer to this question, but does iphoto support raw photos to begin with?

A new RAW Support update was just released. Whilst you should not need it for the camera you have you might want to try it anyway!
