Canon scanner crashing with OS X 10.7.2

Hi all

I have a Canon MX870 scanner / printer copier
I upgraded to OSX 10.7.2 yesterday & since then the Canon software (MP Navigator EX) is crashing when I use the sheet feeder for scanning - it's fine if I just scan on the flat bed

I've looked about for the latest version of the software etc & it's still doing it

Any ideas?
