Hi, I recently sold my Nikon D5000 since I have shifted my focus from still photography to video cinematography. Which of these models would be the best overall for sub-$1000?
Pros of the Canon (from what I've heard)
-Bigger and higher res screen
-Better still pictures (not talking of megapixels, but better overall)
-No moving parts (fan or hard drive)
-Better looking (imo)
-Two SDHC slots
Pros of Panasonic
-Better video quality quality (although some argue this)
-Longer lasting battery
-Wider lens, and more zoom
-Focus ring around lens
-5.1 Surround
-1080 60P (Vs. 60i on the Canon)
Both offer tons of customization, native 24P cinema modes, and brilliant quality. If price is not an issue (since both are within $100 of each other), which should I get?
