Canon ZR800 connection to MacBook Pro 13"

I have a ZR800 and the cable that is needed to go from camcorder to my new Mac is 4-pin to 4- or 6-pin on the notebook. I don't see either of these on my ports. Am I going to be able to connect my camcorder to my notebook?
If you really have a MacbookPro and not a Macbook, then you do indeed have a port. You have a Firewire800 port however and not the firewire400 port you are thinking of, so you need to buy a firewire 800 4pin adapter cable. You should be able to buy one for $15-20.
