Greetings, I have been researching this problem for six hours and have not been able to get anywhere, hopefully someone here will be able to help me out. I got my Canopus ADVC-110 in the mail today and hooked it up and it captures great quality video AND audio on FCP 6 from both my DVD player and my Hi8 Camera. When I try capturing from VCR however, I only get video, the audio is ridiculously low, raising it up in the timeline is barely audible. I tried using different sets of A/V cables to no avail. Why would it capture the audio from other sources but not from my 1996 Sharp VCR when I use the same cables? The box is set to Analog and I use NTSC settings and here are my DIP settings:

-off
-off
-off
-off
-on
- off
