Canoscan with MacBook?

I have a Canoscan 4200F and I'm pretty sure it is not Mac compatible, but maybe someone knows a work around. If not does anyone have any suggestions for a new scanner?

Go to Canon's site and download an OSX driver for a similar scanner, it may work. Otherwise search around on sourceforge.net for a generic OSX scanner driver, there may be one there...

Your scanner is supported by Canon only under Windows. It is not supported by the open source TWAIN SANE project. It is supported by VueScan only under Windows. If you like the job Canon did with the CanoScan 4200F, then there is no need to leave Canon. I have a CanoScan 8600F. Love it!
