Hey everyone. Have a very strange problem here...
Anyway, as I said, I can't access mac.com, or see any images hosted there (can't see anything but text on shirt-pocket.com)- but I can view gallery.mac.com/emily_parker. I can also view the images on shirt-pocket.com on my iPod touch, which uses the wireless signal sent off from my iMac. I assume it's network related. Help? :confused:

Not initially, but I did it a second time, but still, to no avail. I've cleared cookies + cache, if it matters...

Do you have access to another machine you could test your connection with? This'll help us work out if it's a problem with the settings on your Mac or on your router. :)

Is this still happening? .Mac was down late last week but is running fine now.

@Maui: yes, it's still happening. :(

@mad: I tried it on an XP laptop, and it accessed it just fine. Also, it's not the browser, as Camino, Safari, Firefox, and Opera all don't work.

Can you go to apple.com then click on the mac tab?

The Mac tab? Yes, just fine, but if you mean the .mac link, then no. I can, however, view apple.com/dotmac.

Also, I flushed the cache of the DNS servers, and I still get 100% packet loss when I ping.

That's even more strange. When I view mac.com, I see the first image, and apple.com/dotmac, I see the second.

That is really weird. Because I type in mac.com I get the second image. Then when I type in apple.com/dotmac/ I get the second image.

That is seriously a very strange problem.

Sorry for the later reply!
I don't have any other connections to test with, sorry. :(

Do you have any problems using Mail.app?

Mine is currently giving me port 993 timed out errors whenever I try and connect to any servers, whether its local or GMail.
