Got a really strange problem.

Unable to access macrumors from my mac and iphone from home. At work it's fine.

I have no firewall on my mac or any port mapping on by extreme base station.

Anyone help?

If necessary, try a different browser.

I quote, "iPhone". It sounds like a gateway problem, can you trace the ip through terminal?

Hi, I have tried a different browser and this still does not work at all.

The strange this is that I can ping the site though

Consider changing your DNS to OpenDNS for a day and see what happens.

OpenDNS protects millions of people a day across hundreds of thousands of schools, businesses and homes. We block phishing sites, give you the power to filter out adult sites and proxies among more than 50 categories, and provide the precision to block individual domains.

Free yourself of DNS-related Internet outages with our zero-downtime global network. Eliminate DNS as a problem source on your network. Using OpenDNS means fewer support calls and headaches, letting you focus on more important issues.

If you need help just reply here and i'll provide screenshots etc :)
