hi all,

i saw a couple threads about accessing a mac from a windows 7 computer, but i need it the other way.
the problem: we (lab at school) are running a network with mostly windows machines. all users back up files to a drive hooked up to a formerly windows xp computer; the mac users just mapped the drive with the ip address, which worked fine.
we then changed the os from win xp to win 7 (the computer hard drive was corrupted and in the process of getting a new hard drive, someone decided to install windows 7). now all win xp computers still have access to the shared drive, but all mac users don't.

i've read about changed security settings in windows 7 and already tried to change authentication settings but without success.

thanks for your help,
