Can’t access Notes

I’m on the latest version of the iOS 14 public beta, but this has been an issue for a few versions now.

The picture says it all, I can’t bypass the keyboard to get past this screen in order to use the app. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Did you get any feedback from Apple when you reported it? Not seeing it on mine.
