Hello folks,

First post for me, so I am not sure if this is the right forum or not. Also, I have searched for a similar problem to mine, but haven't been able to find anything.

So, here is my dilemma. I signed up for Netflix, and I live in Canada, so of course I wanted access to American Netflix. I installed Hotspot Shield and also changed my DNS server address. Now I can't watch any video from Canadian sites. I disconnect Hotspot when I am finished with Netflix. Just wondering if anyone has a solution for this problem? Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't think there is anything you really can do. What you want to do is going to affect all of your IP traffic which is affecting region capabilities. Essentially when you trick Netflix to think you are in the US, the same thing is going to happen with your Canadian web sites - they are going to think you are in the US and deny you access. There isn't gong to be a way of doing this on a site by site basis.
