Cant activate iPhone 3g

when i am trying to activate iphone 3g after i updated with iOS5, it is showing your iphone could not be activated because the activation server temporarily unavailable. try connecting your iphone to itunes to activate or try again in a couple of minutes. if this problem persists contact support at apple.com/support



i have purchased this one from qatar and have been using in uae


any help.....please....
