Can't Activate my iPhone due to Contract- Suggestions?

This isn't actually trouble shooting, but I went out and got an iPhone Friday night just because I had to, even though my current contract with T-Mobile doesn't expire for another three weeks. Of course I want to port my number to my new iPhone, do you guys have any adivce on how I could use it without paying the $200 to cancel my contract 3 weeks early? Or should I just suck it up and wait the 3 weeks before activating?

Sell your old phone if you have one I sold my n95 for 800 and I paid my termination fee with my profit of 200+.

But then again i had 1 1/2 left.
