Can't activate Screen Sharing

I recently installed Apple Remote Desktop, but it didn't really run stable so i removed it (incl. all prefs and stuff). Now i can't activate the checkbox for screen sharing in system preferences – it's not greyed out, i just can't set the check mark.

I'm not entirely sure it worked prior to installing ARD. Any help or suggestions?



15" MBPr (early 2013), 2,4 Ghz i7, 8 GB RAM
