Can't add a buddy to my iChat list, the name glows then fades!

Hi friends,

Please help me out if you can, the subject line says it all. I add the contact, it recognizes it, and then it disappears. Any ideas?

I had this problem. If you use AIM, use another client such as Adium or AIM Express to see if the contact is added. Other than that, try re-adding your account.
