So I have this 35 MB mp3 file (it's actually an audiobook) that I can't get into the library...no error message, nothing. It won't work with "adding file", "adding folder", or "Import". It's sitting in my hard drive and I can open with the windows media player...any ideas? Thanks much.

My guess is that it's not actually an MP3, but some other format that's been renamed to .mp3. You might need to bring it back in from the original CD.

There may be a problem with the file itself, every once in a while on my machine (running XP) i'll come across a file that shows up as an audio file but will exhibit the problems you describe... and i haven't found a solution for it, the file was corrupt and i simply had to try to get another copy of it.
