Can't add back a previously deleted music album to my iPhone...

I'm kinda desperate... When I delete a music album on my iPhone while connected to my mac and then try to add it back via iTunes it no longer works... This is for music that was purchased on iTunes a long time ago, I think I had another e-mail address. Is this what's causing the issue? When I initially added the album several days ago it worked just fine. Now whatever I do I am unable to put the album back onto my iPhone. Not through manually managing and dragging, not through ticking and syncing... Kinda desperate here...

Does anyone know a fix?

Update: Now it does the same with my imported CDs... When deleted from the iPhone I can't add them back. I drag the album to the iPhone and the iPhone field in iTunes blinks three times and nothing happens...
