Can't adjust settings in Audio MIDI setup

I can't seem to change any settings in 'Audio MIDI Setup' for my audio interface (RME Fireface) nor my Quad Cortex.

Any idea why?

Wouldn't you perform this in RME TotalMix app?
And then, I use the Fireface USB Setting app to change the sample rate, etc.
My UFX individual channel settings are also greyed out in this panel, which I have never been to before.

Yeah but isn't there a way to set the things like the browser audio signal to specific channels/outputs?

This I wouldn't know.
I have never seen this Mac panel before.
I just moved from PC to new M4 Mac Mini Pro, and my ol' RME UFX was dead easy, just copy the settings to the different files, and then load the files under Mac TotalMix, wala.

just check if the interface needs some kind of mac os driver
