Can't Airdrop to phone with different account?

Or copy paste. Really a bummer. Seems to me you should be able to do some kind of request/allow handshake to make it happen. Yeah you can send an email or message, but you can do that to yourself too. Ah well

I faced a similar issue with Airdrop before. Here's a quick fix: On the device you're trying to send to, change the Airdrop setting to 'Everyone' for visibility. Also, if you're using a Mac, check your firewall settings in Security & Privacy to make sure they're not blocking Airdrop.

Copy/paste is a feature called Handoff, and it requires two devices using the same AppleID.

Airdrop can be fickle. I can be using my MBA with an iPhone and a MBP both up and running within 10 feet. Attempting an Airdrop from the MBA, sometimes both the iPhone and MBP show up, sometimes only one or the other, sometimes neither.
