I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue...

There's wireless internet at my workplace, but my iPhone doesn't connect to the network unless I navigate to Settings/Wifi and manually select the network. It remembers my username/password, so I don't receive any prompts, but it cannot automatically detect the network 99% of the time. As soon as the phone is locked, the wifi connection is dropped and it goes to 3G. When I wake the phone, however, it doesn't connect to the wifi network (signal strength isn't an issue). So far, it automatically connected to the network only once.

Oddly, this only happens at work. When I'm at home, my phone automatically connects to the network without fail. Any ideas?

This used to happen to me at my work but it was a private wireless network (didn't show up under Settings>Wi-Fi unless I typed the network name in) however it mysteriously stopped after a while, meaning it now connects automatically every time I get to work.
