Cant backup my iPhone on Big Sur via Finder - Says storage on Mac is full, even tho i have 160gb free (only 90gb on my iPhone)

Does anyone know whats goin on here? I have the mac mini M1 with 256gb storage, 160 gb free. i have a iphone 256gb and using only 90gb.
When trying to backup my phone via finder, im getting a popup that my storage is full and i need to erase some file on my drive to make the backup.
Rebooting the iphone and mac mini doesnt seem to help.

Anyway to fix this? Clearly i have enough with storage on my mac to make a backup...
