Can't boot CD after Intel SSD

MacBook Pro 15" 2010
+ Intel 320 120gb SSD

I cant boot to CD by holding the c key while starting up, in fact I cant use any of the Boot To commands, such as Safe Mode, by holding Shift, or trying to clear pram.

I never had any issues with my stock Apple drive and I only installed the SSD last week so I suspect the SSD is to blame.

Any ideas?

Okay, i worked it out. I had a Firmware Password so couldn't use any of the commands, holding down Option worked! It showed my SSD and a few seconds later the CD showed up.
