So I wanted to install ubuntu to an external drive just to mess around with it. I selected the drive I wanted and it installed. My problem now is my internal drive running 10.6 GM will not boot at all. I've tried single user mode, selecting it in system pref/hold option key, even tried fsch. I've used the Disk utility to repair and verify, to which disk utility says the drive is fine. I can boot from another external drive that also runs 10.6 and use the internal drive and all the applications with no problem but if I want to take my macbook anywhere I'm SOL. I've reinstalled 10.6 too. So if anyone has any other ideas it would be a major help.
