A avinator macrumors member Original poster Nov 24, 2006 42 4 Dec 29, 2015 #1 installed 10.11 a few days ago and worked great on mac pro 1.1. I am getting a panic warning when I tried to boot in this morning. Can anyone help ?

J JohnDS macrumors 65816 Oct 25, 2015 1,183 249 Dec 29, 2015 #2 We need to see the full first line of the panic report. In the meantime, try disconnecting all external peripherals and then try rebooting while holding down the shift key and see if it will safe boot.

The first line of the panic report reads unable to find driver for this platform :\"rcpi\"N"@/Library/caches/com.apple.xbs/sources/xnu/xnu-3248.20.55/iokit/kernel/ioplatformexpert.cpp:1665 below it also reads "mac os version not yet set..." Thanks again
