Hi all, I have a 2010 MBP running Lion. I want to go ahead and wipe out the HD and reinstall a new copy of the OS since i'm selling it. Howerver, when i press COmmand+R while booting, it takes me to a white screen with a circle and line in it. It just sits there and does nothing.

Anyone know what the issue might be?

I got it to boot up, it was the Bootcamp partition, when I removed it and rebooted, I am able to get into recovery console. perhaps a bug??

Now that i'm in, how does one go about a clean-reinstall of the OS?

Use the Lion USB stick in my link above is option one.

Option two is to go into disk utility and erase the entiren HDDS then use the USB stick...Remeber you need an Internet connection to download the rest of Lion.
