Dear all,

I just completed installation of Mac OS X 5.10.1, but I can't boot the system without an installation DVD.

I have selected Mac OS Extended Jounnal file system on my partition, I am still unable to boot it off from the hard drive. Each time when I need to use this Mac OSX, I need to insert its installation DVD, otherwise I will be only seeing "Loading Program" forever on the screen.

What do I have to do to make it boot from my HD?

Thanks
Sam

What specific Mac do you have, what specific Mac OS X version do you have installed on that Mac (I guess Mac OS X 10.5.1, as there is no Mac OS X 5.10.1) and what exact medium is that installation source on (Retail or Restore or Upgrade DVD)?

And does that Mac really display "LOADING PROGRAM"? If so, can you take a focused photo of it and attach it to your next post via TinyPic or the
attach.gif
button?
