I tried to boot to the recovery partion on my mid 2010 iMac using command r on restart but, it goes to internet recovery every time. Option command r does the same thing. The recovery partition shows on diskutil list so not sure what the issue is. I also reset SMC and NVRAM... Any suggestions, I’m about ready to reinstall High Sierra to see if it fixes anything.. The update for High Sierra doesn’t even show on my installed list in the app store even though I’m running it on my computer
 
It says 650mb on the diskutil list. When pressing option the recovery partition appears but, when I try to boot it shows a circle with a line through it.. Re-installing High Sierra fixed all, everything working like it should
