ok, long story short, i installed the cydia app 'CleverPin' and its meant to not require a passcode when connected to my home network; and it did. Also i tried the passcode, that i was very certain it was a few times and wouldnt let me in. I found a post on google saying to SSH into my phone and remove the 'Keychain-2.db' file to remove the passcode lock. However, i did this and upon reboot, it wouldnt boot up.

I know i can just do a restore but there are photos and other personal information i need on there, and need to get them off somehow. So the questions i pose are; Can I access the file system from DFU mode? and Is there a way of booting up my iPhone from the details above?

Thanks to any help in advance :)

[EDIT!] Ok, its now working and i have somehow managed to get on to the lockscreen. New question is, does anyone know how to remove a passcode from and iPhone 4 running iOS 4.2.1?
