Can't change color profile on new MBP

I just purchased a new 15" MBP... have been searching for some color profiles, and downloaded a few found here.

However, when I go into my display file and switch between profiles, nothing changes. Also, when I click on different profiles, I get that "bong" sound when I hit the mouse.

Any ideas what the problem is?

Reading your post, it sounds like you are clicking on the .icc file in the Display folder. You should be selecting the profile via the System Preferences Utility.

Go into System Preferences, select Displays, click on Color, then select the profile you want to use.
