Resolved cant change mail app icon on ML

for some reason, the icon simply won't change - i only get a small preview-like icon with "icns" written in it.

this is the icon i want to use:

issue solved: used this website to create a new icon from the image i had. mind you, the icns files didnt work, but the hqx did.
