So i got a new RMBP of Gumtree (UK) Base spec for £1000, with 3 battery cycles a damn good steal as i sold my old 2010 for £500.

Anyway alls good, lovely machine, however i cant change my background? When i first got it, i set it as background A (just to make things easier), now when i boot into windows, shut that down and reboot back into OSX, i'll be Background B... now its not always consistent, sometimes it will change back sometimes it wont, but nevertheless, background A which is the first background i ever set will always find its way back!!!

Its so awkward... Hopefully Mavericks will fix it. Unless anyone has any suggestions...?

Cheers.

Afraid I can't help but Gumtree is awesome. Got my 2011 cMBP from there in 2011 and 2 months ago bought my 2012 iMac from there too.

Great bargains to be had at much lower prices than eBay.

yeah its so good, paid literally £600 for an amazing laptop. just wish it had more storage as windows 7 and battlefield 3 take up like 90Gb lol.

Nice one.

FYI if you go for external USB3 storage, I recommend the below enclosure. Supports UASP so as fast as you can get really. I have 3 of them.
