Can't change refresh rate on Thunderbolt Display?

I have the Apple Thunderbolt display and can't seem to find or get an option to change refresh rate. Are there any settings hidden or apps available? The display category in the system preferences does not have a refresh rate option at all.

I am quite sure it's locked at 60Hz.
