Can't change song order on my 2g shuffle

I've got a lot of songs on my shuffle and I want to change order around a bit. Unfortunately, iTunes won't let me! I've got the left most column selected (sort by track number) and I'm trying to just drag and drop like I do w/ normal playlists but no luck. Any suggestions?

ah i'm an idiot. for those who might have similar problems in the future, you have to make sure the shuffle button at the bottom of the playlist pane is de-selected. i saw some other threads talking about this, but i thought they were referring to the shuffle switch on the ipod itself.
