Can't change view in just one folder

I click on the folder and when I try and put the items in order by name it changes all my folders in finder. I only want to change the single folder. I tried highlighting the folder and got the same results. My objective is to put the items in a single folder in order my name by not to rearrange everything in Finder.

Have you tried going into the folder itself and setting the view options instead of highlighting the folder itself and setting the view options. Open the folder and then try setting the view options while inside the folder.
