Can't chat

Hello,

I have quite a big problem.
I used to work on a pc. I recently bought me a 24' imac.

Everything works fine except my chat applications.
Internet works, email works, p2p works,..

I have tried messenger for mac, adium, proteus

I have made a new email account etc..

Still can't seem to log in.

We are using a powerline connection for internet (internet through socket)
but everything else works fine.

Can anybody please help me ?

So your trying to sign into your MSN account over multiple clients? What happens when you try to sign in?

I says I can't login because the service is not available or I'm not connected to the internet.
And it's the same with all the other chat apps.

Do you know about some setup I can configure or gates that has to be open to chat ?
