When i bought leopard and installed it i was left with about 3 gigs on my hard drive so i deleted final cut studio 2 and adobe photoshop, however when i did this i checked my free space on my hard drive and it didn't free up anything and i know that it should have givin me over 60 gigs of free space, does anyone know what this problem is and how can i fix it.

Thanks,
Adam

I don't want this to sound wrong in any way, but by delete do you mean you

A. Selected the files and deleted them and..
B. Emptied the trash.

Files left in the trash still take up space on your hard drive. You have to empty the trash to free up that space.

Also, you can use Activity monitor in Applications/Utilities to see free / used disk space.

Check the trash to see if they are in there, If they are empty the trash.
