Can't Clear the Open With Menu

Hello,

I can't clear the "Open With" menu from my Mac. I know I have to open the preferences folder and erase the file named com.apple.LaunchServices.plist but I don't see that file there.

Help...

It may be a hidden file. Enable hidden files through Terminal by running this command:

defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES
killall Finder
