My trackpad works fine except when I try to click something and then drag it. It just won't do it. It's amazing how such a small thing can disrupt your work so much.

I have a 13.3 inch macbook, snow leopard with latest everything and i'm not using a mouse.

I'm travelling at the moment and mac shops are hard to come by (reason for no mouse). Any ideas or keyboard shortcuts that could fix it? I'm trying to finish off an e-book in Indesign and can't unless I can click and drag.

Thanks

go into preferences, universal access
select the track pad options
place a tick in the dragging box, that should do it

doesn't seem to be a dragging box.. see screenshot

It started when I left for travelling and since I'm cycling cross country i.e bumpy roads I thought that I might have knocked something within the mac.

Might have to get a mouse sent to a hotel or something..

Thanks for your help
