Need serious help before I burst a vain!
I'm trying to burn a project in iDVD that I exported from FCE (exported it as QuickTime Movie). The project is about 6GB, so I am configuring iDVD project as DL and Best Performance, NTFS, Widescreen(16:9), in both Proj Info and iDVD Preferences.
When I am burning the project, the DVD will pop out before the burn is complete 'and iDVD continues to think it is burning a disk and does not report an error'!! The disk is not complete and will not play on a DVD player. I have tried changing the burn speeds down to 2x without any improvement.
I have used Memorex 8x DL DVD+R and Ritek 8x DL DVD+R.
I called Mac support and they were not able to help with the issue. I find it very disturbing that iDVD will not halt when the error occurs. I have to manually cancel the burn process or it will never finish. Also, I have to reboot the Mac after this happens before iDVD will recognize a blank DVD media, if I were to try to burn the project again. Getting PC flash backs!
ANYONE OUT THERE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE??? I NEED HELP!!!!
