I have an Iphone 4 GSM (A1332).
I was using it just as an ipod, with aplications and music, no SIM. But somebody were trying to guess the password (4digit code) and it turned deactivated (no "wait 24 hours", just "deactivated, connect to iTunes).

So I connected to iTunes (I've done before to copy music) but it forced to restore and upgrade to 6.0.1. When this ended, it asked me (for the very first time) to insert a SIM card, it doesn't continue without a SIM.

So I decide to jailbreak it, following what I read, with the redsn0w_win_0.9.15b3, but it ended with a “missing keys.plist data for this build”

So after looking for a solution i found a restore an ipsw, but I can't find it. I already downloaded the iPhone3,1_6.0.1_10A523_Restore.zip but it doesn't contain any ipsw file. I read about renaming .zip to .ipsw but the program doesn't recognize the file as valid. What do I do now?

I realize the filename is iPhone3,1_6.0.1_10A523_Restore.zip and not iPhone4xxxx... but the www.redsn0w.us download page does not indicate any iphone version files, just the zip versions for mac, windows, etc.

You need to download the 6.0 IPSW, not 6.0.1, for jailbreaking 6.0.1.
Start up the latest redsn0w, select extras-select ipsw and point to the 6.0 file. Now go back to jailbreak option, select cydia and follow instructions.

After completion, you will need to do the "just boot" option in redsn0w and the cydia should be found on the desktop
