I have exhausted my bag of tricks (updated tv firmware, tried rebooting computer, etc.). The macbook doesn't seem to recognize the t.v. and provides the same resolution options one would get with just plugging in the adaptor without the s-video connected. I have used this adapter and s-video cord to connect to crt tv's in the past without incident. Is there something I have missed?
