Hi folks, I have problem with my magic keyboard. I am using two macbooks (air and pro with m1). If I pair keyboard with air, I am not able to connect it to pro. If I try to connect it, it seems to be connected for a second but then it is disconnected.

I have to click on forget device and making fresh pairing. After this, I can connect it to pro. However then I am not able to connect it to air anymore. I have to also forget device and making new pairing. Could someone help me where is the problem? I am using mac os 13.4. Thank you in advance.

The Magic Keyboard, unfortunately, is designed to only pair with one computer at a time. The work-around is to use it as a wired keyboard for one machine and a wireless (or wired) for the other machine.

Otherwise, you'll need something designed to connect to more than one machine like a Logitech or Keychron (both brands have low-profile bluetooth keyboards that will pair with up to three different machines).
