Can't Connect To 02-UK after 2.1 jailbreak on 3G

need help as why i get no signal for 02 uk when i jailbreaked the iphone 3G on 2.1
i left the sim card that i got with it in the tray

Sadly this can be one of the side affects of jailbreaking. I recently did the same with an old 2.1 and no signal anywhere. I am not a jailbreak genius or anything, in fact i probably know less about it than you but i did read at modmyi that it could be due to the baseband being affected or down to whether you checked the activate button when installing the jailbreak. If you used quickpwn then that may be why it was not activated. (Also make sure that SIM was in the phone during jailbreaking?)
