Im on Mojave 10.14.2 for reasons I do not want to get into.
No lectures please... on why I need to update... security etc etc.
I am ok on all counts, except the title of this post.

Anyway, couple weeks ago I get a CANNOT CONNECT TO APPSTORE message.
Persistently.

I have no network problems, have restarted the laptop, logged out and into my
Apple ID to no avail.

Do you think the devils at apple are punishing me for not downloading there precious OS updates?

Most likely it's an expired security certificate. It's been five years since 10.14.2 was finalized for release.

Thanks...yeah that makes sense...I don't really use the App Store on desktop anyway.
One less thing to worry about.

No lecture, just out of curiosity, why 10.14.2 and not 10.14.6?
