Can't Connect To Certain Websites

So the issue i'm having is that I can't connect to certain websites. However, I know I am connected to the internet as I am posting this and web browsing. If it matters I do have peer gaurdian installed but not currently running when I try to access these websites. I also know the websites aren't down because I can access them via 3G off of my iPhone. Any advice?

use firefox...safari is weird like that.

I had this same issue before. It turned out to be a problem with my wireless router (aka I needed a new one).

o sorry I should have mentioned that I am using the latest firefox...and I tried opening the same web page in safari but that did not work

Did your parents setup a porn blocker? Or put blocks on certain sites?

I will try resetting my old ass linksys and see if that works...but no there are no blockers of any sort...

okay so resetting my router worked...strange error though...thanks for all your help guys!
