I have a D-Link Dir-655 and I'm not too sure how exactly I'm suppose to set this up since there isn't much info on setting up for mac/linux. My network shows up as a wi-fi network.. but it's not joinable. It shows up both on my macbook pro and my iphone, but after I put in the password I'm not able to click to join the network.. anyone know whats goin on?

What level of wireless security did you set? WEP/WPA/WPA2? Macs and other Apple products prefer WPA as a security standard, so if its possible to reconfigure the D-Link, go for it.

Are you not able to connect to the network or not connect to the internet?
Are you able to connect to the router and get an IP address?

If not you might want to plug in with an ethernet cable and see what is going on.

Try typing either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 (not sure with D-link since I never use them).

Not sure what ur password is (again I never use d-link routers). Here are some to try: (Note: where it says none type nothing in that field.)

User/Password:

(none)/admin
admin/admin
user/(none)
